Faculty member Stephen Tino's research on temporary foreign workers has been profiled in the Globe and Mail (external link) .

PhD student Chika Agbo (external link)  has won the Best Student Presenter Award at the 2025 ACEA (external link)  Meetings.

BComm student Cameron Schmidt took home one of the top prizes at this year's Global Undergraduate Awards (external link) , a prestigious international competition that recognizes outstanding undergraduate research.

Faculty member Nicholas Li is part of a team that has been awarded a NordForsk (external link)  grant for a project entitled "Sustainable Human Use of the Arctic Marine Environment".
