Fundraising into a sustainable enterprise requires understanding the venture and growth equity eco-system and how to best position your business in relation to others in that market. In this webinar, attendees will be introduced to a primer on how venture capital and private equity firms operate and how to best position your Company for a successful fundraise. Time will be made available for questions from attendees.

Christian Grunt
Christian Grunt, an alumni of the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) and recipient of the TRSM Top 10 From the Past 10 Award has extensive investment management, technology and governance experience. Christian has remained active within the Ryerson University community through mentoring students and instructing at The Chang School. Christian’s currently a Principal with ScaleUP Ventures, one of Canada’s leading venture capital funds founded by Nadir Mohamed, current Ryerson University Board Member and former CEO of Rogers Communications. ScaleUP has $106MM assets under management committed from some of Canada’s largest enterprises and institutional investors. Chrisitan's previous experience includes technology investment banking with Jefferies in their Silicon Valley office and policy, with the Finance Minister of Canada’s Office, Government of Canada in Ottawa.
