Orientation Winter 2024
The Pre-Orientation, Orientation, and Post-Orientation (Engineering POP) programs are an opportunity to learn more about the social and academic aspects of university, get involved on campus early, meet upper-year leaders and ambassadors, gain valuable leadership skills, network and meet other students with similar interests before orientation week.
Winter Pre-Orientation 2023

Our virtual Pre-Orientation session is opportunity to learn more about moving to Toronto, getting ready for university, being involved on campus early, talking with upper-year engineering students, and meeting your fellow classmates before the semester begins.

No registration needed
If you are an incoming international student who will start the program in January 2024 and need support in adding/swapping/dropping your courses, you can come by our virtual Course Enrolment Support session. You may also seek 1-on-1 advising support at this event as our Academic Advisors will be in attendance.

Academic Orientation Winter 2024
FYEO will be hosting a Winter Academic Orientation held in-person on Tuesday, January 9th at 1:00 pm at the ENG building on the 3rd floor (Atrium room).
This Winter Orientation is intended for incoming Engineering students who will be starting the program on January 2024.
Attending Academic Orientation will help you connect with fellow engineering students and ensure that by the time classes start, you are ready to get going. We will also send you a calendar invite as a reminder closer to the date.

No registration for Academic Orientation is required for all confirmed incoming students.

Post-Orientation
After Pre-Orientation and Orientation Week during the summer months, Post-Orientation are events during your academic year from September until April. The First-Year Engineering Office offer a wide variety of free events for students to stay connected and be informed. Sign up for various post-orientation events listed on our calendar starting in September to get the most out of your university experience.
