Chemistry Program

Our regular and co-op chemistry programs are both fully accredited from the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) (external link) . You’ll share a common first year with students in biology and medical physics, giving you the chance to explore other possible paths to degree completion before committing to Chemistry.

You’ll gain detailed knowledge in the principles of matter and energy, and chemical applications in such channels as: the creation of new materials and products, environmental protection, and antibiotics. You may also choose the Applied Physics option, which includes specific, additional courses.
