Programs & Courses
The Department of Chemistry and Biology offers three undergraduate programs: Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and Chemistry.
Each one is designed to provide . Each one is designed to provide students with a combination of knowledge and skills. You’ll gain a solid theoretical foundation in science along with hands-on technical skills. Successful graduates finish with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree.

- Degree earned: BSc (Hons)
- Program Length: Four years, full time
- Curriculum Options:
- Biology: Regular program, Biophysics option, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology option or Environmental Biology option
- Chemistry: Regular program or Applied Physics option
- Biomedical Sciences: Regular program only
- Optional Co-op: Available in all programs. Adds one extra year, totalling five years.
- Optional Specialization in Management Sciences: Available in all programs
- Minors: All programs allow room for an optional secondary area of study
