Forms and policies
Any time you want to change a class, appeal a grade or withdraw from a course you’ll need to fill out the associated TMU form. Below you’ll find a number of commonly used forms used by students at the Faculty of Arts and the wider university community.
If you need help finding a form or understanding a specific policy, please reach out to an academic advisor.
If you believe one of your final grades has been impacted by extenuating circumstances, a policy violation or unfair treatment, you can file an Academic Appeal. There are two types of appeals: Academic (based on a grade) and Standing (based on your academic standing).
If you’re in a position where health, compassionate or extenuating circumstances impact your ability to complete class or course requirements, you can file an Academic Consideration (ACR). This must be filed three business days before any scheduled evaluation, like an exam or test.
