Jamie La

Jamie La is a passionate and dedicated individual with numerous leadership experiences in 10+ student associations, as well as having diversified professional experiences working at Canada Revenue Agency, Manulife, KPMG, and PwC. He has held various professional roles, including external auditor, revenue collections officer, and operations analyst, which have contributed to his experience in analyzing financial statement audits, leading team and client meetings, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. Having obtained his Bachelor of Commerce and Professional Master’s Diploma in Accounting at TMU, he is currently working toward his CPA designation while completing his MBA. Jamie continues to pursue diverse opportunities to expand his academic and professional portfolio, with particular interests in leadership, strategic development, and corporate accounting and finance. He plans to continue evolving both academically and professionally to become the best version of himself.

I decided on the Ted Rogers MBA program because of the incredible academic and professional opportunities it offers. With this, I wanted to balance my technical background in accounting with soft skills and networking opportunities through the Ted Rogers MBA program. This program provides a valuable platform to share my experiences and background with like-minded individuals while opening doors to new opportunities through networking events and student associations.

Being part of the Ted Rogers MBA program represents a new chapter in my journey, and I aim to make a meaningful impact in the industry post-graduation.
