Raafi Islam is a digital marketing professional with experience across nonprofits, SaaS, media, and consumer product brands. He has worked with organizations such as UNICEF Canada, the University of Calgary, dating startup - Truphle, and Chorki, the largest video-on-demand platform in Bangladesh.

His experience spans paid media marketing, digital strategy, analytics, and user-focused growth across web and social platforms. He has led and supported campaigns for both product and service-based businesses, with a strong focus on performance, audience insights, and measurable outcomes.

Raafi has also worked extensively with consumer product brands, combining brand storytelling with data-driven paid media to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions. His work reflects a balance of creative thinking and practical execution grounded in real-world marketing results.

Why Digital Media?

I chose the Digital Media because it aligns closely with both my professional background and personal goals. My experience in digital marketing exposed me to fast-changing platforms, data, and emerging technologies, and it pushed me to understand not just how tools work, but how they affect people at scale.

The program allows me to explore emerging tech, design, and media from a more thoughtful and hands-on perspective. It supports my goal of creating digital products and experiences that are user-focused and socially responsible. I want to use my skills to create real social impact by building media and technology that informs, includes, and meaningfully improves how people engage with the world.
