Incoming TMU engineering students can begin their Toronto Met experience by participating in one of five Engineering POP programs: EngTech, EngSports, EngArts, EngOnline.
Combining experiential learning with team-building and leadership activities, each program introduces students to Toronto Met Engineering through interaction with peers, upper-year students, faculty, and staff.
Want to meet fellow incoming engineering students for some friendly competitive sports? Join us for EngSports, a pre-orientation event made just for new engineering students!
EngSports is an opportunity to play with new friends in an environment that celebrates teamwork, mutual respect, and - most of all - fun! Our mission is to help you connect with future engineering peers before you start your classes this fall. This pre-orientation program also offers new engineering students the opportunity to connect with First-Year Ambassadors (upper-year engineering students) as they will go over student survival tips! The First-Year Ambassadors will be going over how to prepare for university, time management and study tips, joining student clubs, course advice and much more.
Who can participate?
This event is for incoming 2024 engineering students who have accepted their offer of admission at TMU. EngSports welcomes participants at any skill level.
