Mini Engineering Hackathon

The FYEO's mini hackathon is designed to introduce you to the world of hackathons without even knowing how to code. This will prepare you for larger scale hackathons and will look great on a resume! Bring your logic and creativity to compete for a prize! All that is required to participate is a Gmail that is not your TMU Gmail.

You and your team will be asked to create a map of Toronto including important student locations. Possible categories to add to your map could include chill hangout spots, scary alley ways to avoid, or cheap eats. It is up to you to decide on a fun, useful category and add locations. Each location should also include information. Think of Google Maps, every business includes a website link, rating and reviews. What type of information will you include to display for you fellow students? Our qualified judges are looking for creativity, appearance, quality of information and usefulness.
