HTM Industry Award

2025-2026 Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Industry Award

Presented in recognition of significant support for the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, this year the HTM Industry Award is presented to Juanita Dickson, President & CFO Gusto 54 Hospitality Group (external link, opens in new window) .

Since graduating from our program in 1994, Juanita has remained a steadfast champion of our mission. For the past five years, she has been a vital member of our Advisory Council, most recently serving as Chair, where her strategic leadership has been instrumental in shaping the future of the school.

Juanita’s career is a testament to the versatility of our industry, spanning over two decades of success across incentive travel, large-scale events, and high-growth hospitality. Her journey from the HTM program to the C-suite—supported by an MBA from Schulich and executive studies at Harvard—makes her a tireless mentor for the next generation. Whether serving as the keynote for the 2019 HTSS Conference or speaking at forums like Women in Tourism & Hospitality, Juanita consistently gives back to her alma mater.

We are thrilled to recognize her outstanding contributions and her unwavering commitment to Toronto Metropolitan University.
