Dr. Suzanne Wood

Dr. Suzanne Wood is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream, in the University of Toronto Department of Psychology. She joined in 2014 after four years of postdoctoral research at Columbia University. She attained a PhD in Psychology and Cognitive Science, specializing in behavioural neuroscience, from UC San Diego. In the classroom, Suzanne teaches courses on behavioural neuroscience and psychopharmacology. Outside the classroom, she works with undergraduate researchers on topics related to student learning and health. She was the recipient of the 2019–20 University of Toronto Early Career Teaching Award. Suzanne has contributed to the university through multiple administrative positions. She currently serves as the Associate Dean, Student Affairs for the Faculty of Arts & Science.
