Course Operation Survey (COS) Reports
COS reports are presented in a frequency distribution format and are available to individual faculty members and contract lecturers only.
You can access your Course Operation Survey (COS) results through the “Course Operation Survey” link on the “Reports” tab at my.torontomu.ca.
Please note the following regarding access to survey data:
Winter 2026 and onward
All current and future course survey reports are hosted directly within the “Course Operation Survey” link on my.torontomu.ca.
Prior to Winter 2026
To access reports generated before the Winter 2026 term, please log in to the legacy Faculty Course Survey portal:
https://ccs.cf.torontomu.ca/facultycoursesurvey/
- Information collected through the Course Operation Survey (COS) is available to individual faculty members through the COS portal for formative purposes and shall not be included in faculty annual reports.
- Faculty members may choose to include COS results in their teaching dossiers for the purpose of tenure and promotion but in no case shall be required to submit COS results. No negative inference will be drawn as a result of their absence.
Reports for CUPE Unit 1 & 2 contract lecturers
- Course Operation Survey (COS) results are not automatically added to the CUPE Unit 1 currency reports. CUPE 3904 Unit 1 members who want to include these COS results in their currency reports must upload them manually.
- A negative inference will not be drawn if these are not submitted. In addition, Contract Lecturer Appointments Committees (CLACs) should not provide additional scoring to applicants who provide their COS scores for the above noted semesters in their application.
Send an email to coshelp@torontomu.ca if you have questions or need help with the Course Operation Survey process.
