Ritsuko Sugiman Postdoctoral Fellowship in Critical Policy Studies

The new School of Public Policy and Democratic Innovation’s Postdoctoral Fellowship in Critical Policy Studies at Toronto Metropolitan University will inspire and cultivate unique and innovative research related to public policy, equity and representation, decolonization and anti-oppression in Canada. This inaugural Fellowship will provide an exciting opportunity for an emerging scholar who wishes to develop a research programme at the interface of community-engaged scholarship and public policy.

Amount: Funding will be available to provide $70,000 per year to support up to two years of salary for one Postdoctoral Fellow.

Geoffrey F. Bruce Fellowship in Canadian Freshwater Policy

The Bruce Postdoctoral Fellowship supports one of Canada’s next environment and freshwater research and policy leaders. The candidate embodies a commitment to leading-edge scholarly and policy contributions through interdisciplinary and inter-institutional initiatives, scholarly and policy publications and submissions, contributions to public forums and discussions, and media commentary related to environment and freshwater governance in Canada. 

Amount: $70 000 annually funding one postdoctoral project in Environment and Canadian Freshwater Policy including benefits plus a $5,000 research fund.
