#HTMRyerson virtually celebrated award recipients
The Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management hosted its annual 2021 Awards Night Celebration on November 9, 2021. HTM Faculty, Staff, students, alumni, donors, and industry associates gathered for a virtual event..
The program offered a 45-minute presentation with host Director Dr. Frédéric Dimanche and speakers James Murphy, Kate Monk, Dr. Julie Kellershohn and Dr. Rachel Dodds.
Dr. Jen McMillen, Vice Provost, Students at Ryerson University, and Dr. Daphne Taras, Dean of Ted Rogers School of Management, offered their congratulatory messages to award winners.

RTO 12 / Explorers' Edge received our 2021 HTM Industry Award.
This year, in particular, the efforts of James Murphy and Kate Monk to help the businesses within their destination survive the pandemic have been remarkable. In addition, they have moved their destination towards sustainability and regenerative tourism.
We would like to thank them for their contribution to our School as guest speakers in classes, and at our student-run conferences on multiple occasions.
