Biography

Linh Do graduate from the State University of New York, majoring in Digital & Studio Arts in 2021. She is a passionate designer who is willing to learn and explore any aspects of the digital design industry. After that, she worked as a visual/graphic designer at Innovative Hub, which is a Singapore e-commerce company in Vietnam. After working for a while, She decided to apply for a Master of Digital Media for more in-depth education in design, especially UI/UX design.

She describes herself as an explorer. By trying different digital mediums, she perceives that art and design are related but not the same. Design is a bridge between function and art. As a connection between two distinct fields, there are many troubles. The job of the designer is to solve problems caused by disparate characteristics of these areas. Despite the complication, creating a valuable design has been her everyday pleasure.

Why Digital Media?

I have chosen the Master of Digital Media program because its research areas have 'UI/UX Design', ‘Digital Culture & Design’, ‘Web Design’, and ‘Digital Marketing’, which are industries that interest me. Also, I would like to get in touch with VR/AR and focus more on UI/UX design. I believe that MDM can provide that opportunity for me.
