Biography

Yalin graduated from York University with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Games Arts Stream. During her undergraduate studies, Yalin enjoyed the knowledge from the world of digital media, especially games, interactive installation art and user experience. Her studies focused on game design, 3D modeling, and user interaction. Having worked on numerous team projects, Yalin has taken on many roles as a designer, so she defines her ambition to become an interaction designer. She believes that good design can bring happiness to people, and this will always be her passion and her future endeavour.

Why Digital Media?

Digital Media is the product of the collision of two different fields, computer technology and art, and it encompasses all the areas that interest me, including game design, which initially attracted me to my undergraduate major, and my current passion, UI/UX design. Being in the MDM program at TMU will allow me to have more hands-on projects and strengthen my skills in interdisciplinary teamwork.
