Tricia Crivellaro
Tricia Crivellaro (she/her/elle) is a designer/artist, independent researcher, and educator based in Montreal and Toronto. With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, her practice combines critical engagement with fashion theory and hands-on design, exploring fashion as a regenerative and poetic form of making. Grounded in feminist and sustainability frameworks, she investigates themes of unbecoming, fragmentation, and reconstruction to reflect on systems such as patriarchy, capitalism, and ecological degradation. Tricia’s work is collaborative, bridging fields including contemporary dance, textile-making, music, curation, video, and photography, and has been showcased nationally and internationally. As an educator, she prioritizes collaborative learning, research-driven experimentation, and ethical design practices, including upcycling and zero-waste, to foster creativity and critical reflection.
