Third-year Field Placement: Full-time Program

Course: CLD 363 Field Education III
Gain experience at an advanced level by working with children who may have identified disabilities. You will be directly involved in assessing the abilities of children, and planning and implementing activities that are developmentally appropriate.
Put into practice what you have learned in the classroom to adapt programs that build on a child's strengths and are responsive to their learning needs. At the same time, you will continue focusing on building supportive relationships with families, colleagues and community members. Your placement options may include:
- Early primary classrooms
- Specialized programs for children with disabilities
- Early Learning Centres
- Resource Consultation & Early Intervention Specialists
Your third-year field education placement will take place during the Winter term.
Note:
The prerequisites for this course are CLD 262 or Direct Entry.
