Student Placement Profiles
Field experiences are an important way that the School of Early Childhood Studies prepares future educators to work with young children and their families. Here, students in all years of program placement reflect on their experiences in field, how they overcame challenges, and how their placements have informed their future plans.
In this placement, students support children and their families in a community setting. Settings for this placement include EarlyON Centres, family resource programs and kindergarten classrooms.
In this placement, students work with children who may require additional support or adapted programming. Settings for this placement include early primary classrooms, specialized programs for children with disabilities, Early Learning Centres and Resource Consultation & Early Intervention Specialists.
