Aura McCluskey

Biography:

The School of ECS was essential in developing research and advocacy skills to promote effective knowledge around regulations and make changes to support families and individuals with diverse needs. My experiences in the ECS undergraduate program moved me toward Community Consultation for persons with special needs. 

Aura currently provides Community Consultation to families and individuals to apply for funding, strategies to support inclusion in school, community and home for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Aura is also a Learning Leader, delivering Autism Spectrum Disorder training to parents and professionals. Aura designs workshops and groups for transitions, communication and supports, and does community advocacy with multi-agencies in Ontario.
