The International Issues Discussion (IID) series at Toronto Metropolitan University will present its fifth and final talk of the Fall 2024 series, in partnership with the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS): "The Spy Game in Canada: The Canadian Security Intelligence Service at 40".

Our guests will be:

Don Mahar who served for 41 years in the RCMP Security Service, CSIS, and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE), mostly in counter-intelligence. 

Ralph Mahar who served for 34 years with the RCMP and CSIS and several years in operations support with the Canadian Armed Forces in Afghanistan and Kuwait. 

James Gough who served for more than 30 years with the RCMP and CSIS: most in counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism. 

and

Dan Stanton who served with CSIS for 32 years and is now Director of National Security with the University of Ottawa's Professional Development Institute. 

Their talk will be held in-person on Wednesday, November 20th between 6:30 and 8:30 pm in ENG 103 (the Vari Engineering Building, 245 Church Street, Toronto). Attendance is free and everyone is welcome.
