Background:
Come learn more about what it’s like to work as a Leadership Development Facilitator at Toronto Metropolitan University with Kaela Menezes.

Biography:
Kaela Menezes (she/her) graduated with a degree in Sociology, with a double minor in Psychology and Philosophy, and is currently pursuing a master’s in Immigration and Settlement (MA) at TMU. Her academic foundation has seamlessly transitioned into her professional life, where she has worked extensively in the non-profit sector as a Settlement Counsellor, assisting newcomer youth and families in adapting to life in Canada. In addition, Kaela has leveraged her skills in communications and storytelling to help organizations articulate their missions and impacts through fundraising initiatives.

Currently, Kaela works as the Leadership Development Facilitator with Student Life and Learning Support, where she builds and facilitates key student leadership programs across the university. Her passion for fostering inclusive environments drives her dedication to empowering individuals and building stronger communities.
