Eight courses receive the Faculty of Arts 2024-2025 Curriculum Redevelopment Grants
Grant aims to facilitate enhancement of courses focused on Indigenous Education, Black Studies/Anti-Black Racism and Equity

The Curriculum Redevelopment Grants aim to bolster the redesign of existing courses or the development of a new, critical, engaging curriculum aimed at addressing structural barriers and major gaps in program content with one or a combination of themes such as Indigenous Education, Black Studies/Anti-Black Racism or Equity and Access.
Eight courses were named for the 2024-2025 year:
- Dr. Enriqueta Zafra - SPN 504: Spanish Language and Culture through Film
- Dr. Darcy Ballantyne - ENG 110: Literatures Across Borders
- Dr. Irene Gammel - ENG 240L Contours on Creativity
- Dr. Joshua Price and Dr. Enriqueta Zafra - CRM 601: Violence and Society
- Dr. Karen Milligan - PS 8306: Practicum in Clinical Psychology
- Dr. Andrew Millward and Madeline Whetung - GEO 241: Cartographic Principles and Practice
- Dr. Anne-Marie Singh - CR 8002: Critical Engagement in Criminological Theories
- Dr. Klaas Kraay - SSH 105: Critical Thinking I
Professors will have 12 months to complete the redesign of the courses.
