In his first appearance at Ryerson as premier, Doug Ford addresses Ontario’s challenges under his Progressive Conservative government: economics, politics, pandemics — bring your questions! Hosted by Toronto Star columnist and Ryerson Visiting Practitioner Martin Regg Cohn, the event is sponsored by the Faculty of Arts and open to all students and faculty.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Doug Ford is the 26th Premier of Ontario and MPP for Etobicoke-North. His Progressive Conservatives won a majority government in the 2018 election. A father of four adult daughters, he ran his family’s manufacturing company in Toronto and Chicago before winning election as a Toronto city councillor in 2010.

Martin Regg Cohn is a political columnist for the Toronto Star and a former foreign correspondent. A Visiting Practitioner in the Faculty of Arts and founder of the Ryerson Democracy Forum, he is also a Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.
