Course Wait Lists

The Wait List enrolment function can assist you in managing your time more effectively by monitoring and coordinating the enrolment into a full class.

  • Classes that have the Wait List option and are full will be indicated with a wait list symbol on MyServiceHub.
  • Each Wait List has 20 spots and you can be on the waitlist for up to two (2) classes per term.
  • The Wait List opens at the beginning of the enrolment period and closes on the last day to add yourself to Wait Lists. The last day to add Wait Lists can be found in the undergraduate significant dates calendar above.

The Wait List function will NOT work if any of the following exist:

  • Timetabling Conflict:
You cannot be enrolled in classes happening at the same time. To resolve this conflict you must drop the conflicting class.
  • Hold on your Account:
You will not be enrolled from the Wait List if there are holds on your TMU student account. A hold is a restriction placed on your MyServiceHub account related to outstanding fees owed or other unresolved obligation with the University. To resolve it, review the details in the hold description in your Student Center on MyServiceHub and contact the appropriate department for further advice.
  • Missing Prerequisites or Corequisites:
You must satisfy all prerequisite or corequisite requirements in order to be enrolled in a class from the Wait List.
Use the undergraduate calendar to review your course requirements and the sequencing of your courses.
  • Enrolment in Another Section of the Same Course:
You cannot be enrolled in more than one section of the same course. You must drop the section you are enrolled in before you can be added to your waitlisted section.
