TMU will host the 8th annual Soapbox Science Toronto this September in partnership with Word on the Street Toronto. The event is free and open to all ages.

Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women scientists and the science they do. Using their soapbox, our speakers will share cutting edge research with the general public and engage curious minds of all ages. This isn’t your average science talk - we’ve swapped powerpoints for fun props and panels for direct access to leading scientists.

Our 12 speakers will share their expertise over 3 hours at Toronto's largest outdoor book festival. Check back for more updates about the event and our amazing lineup of speakers!
