Biography

Joel Daniel is a multidisciplinary designer and digital media enthusiast with a background in graphic design and 3D art. He holds a Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design along with professional experience in branding, advertising, and UI/UX design, Joel has worked with agencies and freelance clients, developing visually compelling and strategically driven digital solutions. Passionate about the intersection of creativity, technology, and strategy, he aims to transition into digital strategy roles that integrate emerging technologies. Beyond his professional work, Joel is a passionate runner, having recently completed his first half marathon. He’s also a pop culture enthusiast with a deep appreciation for hip-hop music and movies, especially blockbuster franchises such as Transformers, Jurassic Park, and Fast & Furious, which has led to his artworks gaining a handful of virtual and in-person celebrity recognitions.

Why Digital Media?

I’ve always been drawn to the blend of creativity, technology, and strategy, and digital media brings all of that together in the best way possible. What excites me most about this program is the access to top-notch labs, industry tools, and hands-on projects that push me to think differently. Plus, being surrounded by like-minded creatives and industry pros at events and workshops is a huge bonus. I’m looking forward to learning, experimenting, and building something meaningful while making the most of the opportunities this program has to offer.
