Biography
Isabella (Bella) Iannetta is a published poet, an award-winning advertising strategist, and DEIA advocate in Toronto. Bella brings her creativity and curiosity to everything she explores; her artistic and poetic practice is inspired by her lived experience with OCD, most notably in her book of intrusive thought poetry by Ace of Swords Publishing titled, “Thoughts that got stuck in my head.” With nine years of navigating the corporate world as a queer, neurodivergent woman, she applies her gained knowledge and experience to support her passion for community building and giving others the space to exist and express their fullest selves. This is accomplished through various initiatives including leading the Event Operations team at Filling the Gap Toronto, and amplifying Queer voices through her Soup & Stories Series on Instagram and in person events.
Why Digital Media?
I truly believe that the future is not inevitable - our choices today will shape what we will see tomorrow. I chose this program to further my goal of working in higher education to inspire the next generation in creating a positive future using technology and creative problem-solving.
