Biography
Alecks Ambayec is a Filipina actress, screenwriter, and producer. Before moving to Toronto, Canada in 2023 to expand her career as a filmmaker, she was a film, TV, and stage actress in Manila, Philippines. She was part of various Filipino films and TV shows under the three big networks in Manila particularly ABSCBN, GMA7, and Viva Entertainment. She also worked as a commercial model for different brands including FoodPanda, Royal, JuanHand, Nature’s Spring, and Kotex. She was part of the international feature film, Sensitive And In Love as an actress and production assistant. After the success of the said film, she joined the same team as an Associate Producer for Sensitive Men Rising – The Documentary. She would love to take on any kind of character, but she particularly enjoys playing complex women characters. She finished her MA Theatre Arts degree at the University of the Philippines and she’s a recent graduate of the Acting for Film, TV, and Theatre program at Toronto Film School. She finds delight in scuba diving and film photography.
