Thomas Blanchard is a photo-based artist, educator, and freelance photographer living in Toronto. His most recent photographic art projects involve creating site specific multi-media installations with the use of photo light boxes, sculptures, and ambient sounds. His projects examine strategies of cryogenic preservation, modification, and seed archiving as they relate to issues surrounding contemporary agricultural practices.
