Akash is an educator, strategist, researcher and designer with over 15 years of multifaceted experience at the intersections of fashion, communication, education, foresight, systems, trend forecasting, and policy. His pedagogy and practice have applied trans-disciplinary approaches to solve critical planetary problems and anticipate emerging shifts in culture & markets.

Akash was the Associate Program Director of School of Fashion at ISDI Mumbai, with Parsons School of Design, New York, leading Visual Communication Studio, Design Studio, and Thesis: Futures Design Lab. He has lectured in several prestigious design schools such as Parsons, Royal College of Art, Marangoni, and London College of Contemporary Arts — and has presented his research paper on fashion’s interdisciplinary potential at the University of Antwerp

He has spoken at leading platforms like Dubai Future Forum, and United Nations — and has worked with The Future Laboratory, Spotify, Nike, Government of UK, Ministry of Health (Ontario), WGSN, Mars, TrendVision, Protein, Esteé Lauder, IKEA, Deloitte, Fashion Revolution, H&M, Armani, Esprit, M&S, Aditya Birla, and more.
