Review of Appointment of Academic Administrators (AAA) Policy and Procedures

Dear faculty and contract lecturers,
The Office of the Vice-Provost, Faculty Affairs (OVPFA) is undertaking a review of the AAA Policy and Procedures. This review will involve formal consultations with the Toronto Metropolitan University community regarding ways in which the current policy and procedures may be improved.
The academic administrator positions that fall under the AAA policy are as follows:
- Provost and Vice-President, Academic
- Vice-President, Research & Innovation
- Vice-Provost, Faculty Affairs
- Vice-Provost, Academic
- Vice-Provost & Dean of the Yeates School of Graduate Studies
- Associate Vice-President, Research
- Deans
- Associate Deans
- Chief Librarian
- Associate Chief Librarian
The AAA Policy and Procedures were last updated in 2017. Information about the review process can be found on the AAA review website.
Community feedback is an important part of the review process, as such a virtual town hall is scheduled for Monday, January 30 at 11AM. All TMU Community Members are invited to attend. Questions to guide the consultation can be found on the AAA review website and feedback can also be provided via (google form) this form (external link) . Please provide your feedback by Monday, February 6.
