Message from Interim Vice-Provost, Faculty Affairs

Dear colleagues,

As we enter the second half of the fall semester, and as I settle in as the interim vice-provost, faculty affairs, I would like to take this time to formally introduce myself and express my gratitude for all of your support as I have made the transition into this role – thank you!

Having been with the university since 2003 in various capacities I know that I am surrounded by passionate and hard-working people and am looking forward to supporting the great work of the OVPFA team. It is important to me that I continue to cultivate our collegial environment and that you find TMU to be a rewarding place to build your careers, where you have the opportunity to be engaged in meaningful work that matters to you.

As we move forward together please know that my door, physically or virtually, is always open. I welcome the opportunity to meet and collaborate with you to strengthen synergies and to broaden and deepen connections.

I also want to remind you of the great programming we are offering throughout the academic year such as the Let’s Talk… Series, the Chairs & Directors Leadership Series and the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA) Learning Series. I encourage you to attend these sessions that cover a variety of topics to enhance your learning and practical training.
