Contract Lecturer Appointment Committee (CLAC) Recruitment Workshops

Participating in the recruitment of CUPE 3904 Unit 1 Contract Lecturers is an important and valued function that you carry out as a member of the Contract Lecturer Appointment Committee (CLAC).

In order to ensure the process is carried out in an effective manner and in accordance with legislated and collective agreement requirements, the University and CUPE 3904 Unit 1 have agreed that relevant training be provided to CLAC committee members.

The Office of the Vice Provost, Faculty Affairs, in collaboration with Human Resources and CUPE 3904 Unit 1, is delivering a recruitment workshop for CLAC members.

Please note that no member can serve on a CLAC until they have participated in this mandatory workshop.

You must attend one of the training sessions listed below if you are a new member on the CLAC. You do not need to attend if you have already done so in the last three years, however you are welcome to attend again if you wish.

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 training will be delivered remotely using Zoom.
