Recommended for: Early career faculty and faculty who have not written a tri-council grant recently

Join us and learn about grant writing skills for applications to the three Canadian government research funding agencies: the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). 

This will include resources to support proposal development, such as: 

  • Finding the right funding opportunity for your Scholarly, Research and Creative (SRC) program.
  • Typical application formats.
  • How to present a compelling proposal.
  • Building appropriate budgets.
  • Researcher resources at TMU. 

We ask that participants inform us beforehand of any accessibility requirements for this presentation.
