This comprehensive workshop aims to provide a clear understanding of Policy 170(a) and its implications for academic success.
This workshop will focus on understanding Academic Standings outlined in the policy (including Clear, Probationary, Required to Withdraw, Permanent Program Withdrawal, and Standing Variation Withdrawal).
We will share information regarding the Academic Continuance Processes and how standings are managed.
We will describe the steps involved in evaluating academic performance, determining academic standing, and communicating decisions to students.
We will also talk about the current practices for grade submissions, revisions of final grades and how missing grades impact students’ academic records.
By the end of this session, you will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively navigate Policy 170(a), ensuring consistent and fair application of academic standards and supporting student success.
