Departmental Evaluation Committee (DEC) / Faculty Tenure Committee (FTC) training - registration is now closed

The Collective Agreement requires that training workshops be held each year to provide instruction with regard to DEC’s/FTC’s legal obligations and duties under the Agreement and University policies. It is important to note that no member can serve on a DEC or FTC, until they have participated in the mandatory orientation session for DEC/FTC members.

TheCollective Agreement language will affect the work of departmental evaluation committees. Therefore attendance is imperative in order to ensure that there are no delays in your committee’s completion of its work in a timely manner.  Attendees at the 2023 DEC/FTC training session are not required to attend this year’s training but are welcomed to do so, if they wish to have a refresher session.
