The TMU Robotics Council invites you to the following seminar as part of its speaker series: Advancing Embodied AI: Real-Time Integration of the D-Robotics RDK S100 and AgileX Robotic Arms by AgileX Robotics

About the seminar

This seminar introduces AgileX Robotics’ latest developments in robotic manipulation and embodied AI, highlighting the company’s robotic-arm technologies and integrated development ecosystem. The session will then explore the D-Robotics RDK S100, a robotics development platform designed to support intelligent perception, decision-making, and real-time robotic applications.

A joint live demonstration will showcase the integration of the RDK S100 with an AgileX robotic arm, illustrating how onboard computing and robotic hardware can work together to perform responsive manipulation tasks. The demonstrated system is being prepared for an upcoming robotics competition at the University of Waterloo, giving attendees an early look at its capabilities.

The seminar will conclude with an interactive discussion and hands-on question-and-answer session focused on robotic-arm development, system integration, and emerging applications of embodied artificial intelligence.
