On February 12 and 13th, the Ryerson Engineering Outreach team will be hosting the virtual Global Changemakers Engineering Competition in collaboration with Motorola Solutions. Young women between grades 7-10 are welcome to participate in workshops, meet other like-minded students and hear from our undergraduates about what university life is like in engineering.
Participants will learn about the United Nations' 17 global Sustainable Development Goals. As changemakers, they will learn how they can use their engineering and critical thinking skills to solve problems worldwide. Winners will earn prizes valued at up to $200 in merchandise.
Please note: No prior engineering experience is required to participate. This event is designed for students who are looking to explore engineering, as well as those who are looking to learn more.
