Biography

Dr. Kris Alexander is a globally recognized authority on video game design, educational technology, and AI in education. As Associate Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University and Director of the Red Bull Gaming Hub, he develops innovative approaches to game-based learning, live streaming, and the future of teaching with technology.

His research explores how video games foster engagement, community-building, and learning, securing over 1M in funding and collaborations with leading brands and institutions. A two-time globally ranked competitor, and two-time TED Speaker Dr. Alexander brings real-world expertise into the classroom and beyond.
