Shari Hodges appointed as TMU’s Registrar and Executive Director, Strategic Enrolment Management.

It is our pleasure to share with the FEAS Community that our colleague, Shari Hodges, was officially announced as TMU’s University Registrar and Executive Director of Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) earlier this month. Shari has served as interim registrar since March 2024 and began in the permanent role, along with her expanded SEM portfolio, on January 1, 2026. (Please click here for the official announcement)

Shari has spent more than 23 years at TMU, with deep roots in FEAS. Her experience includes work in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering; Department of Aerospace Engineering; and YSGPS, supporting admissions and recruitment for engineering graduate programs. She later joined the FEAS Dean’s Office to build and lead the Engineering Admissions and Recruitment unit and served three years on the Hydro One Women in Engineering University Partnership Operations Committee. 

Shari holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Culture, Language, and Teaching. As an active leader in the higher education sector, she serves on the executive of the Ontario University Registrars' Association (OURA), and contributes to national discussions through the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
