Research focus while a Bridging Divides Future Leaders Fellow

As part of his Bridging Divides fellowship, Rowan's research will examine how African migrant men in South Africa, Canada and the UK reconstruct masculinity, navigate cultural shifts, and make complex family-making decisions across transnational spaces. Aligned with Bridging Divides' focus on migration, gender and well-being, his research will offer comparative insights into how men experience identity, belonging and health. Through engagement with the interdisciplinary community at Bridging Divides, this study will contribute to critical dialogues on inclusive policy, cultural integration and gendered migration experiences.
