Outreach & Awareness

Students briskly walking to class in the TRSM building

The AIO can support faculty through in-class presentations that integrate course content, clarify expectations, and raise awareness of the importance of academic integrity, ethical decision-making and professional integrity in any field or discipline.

  • Looking for a way to connect classroom material to the “real world” or professional context? The AIO can work with you to find content relevant to the field of study that demonstrates the value of ethical decision-making, or the consequences of professional misconduct
  • Let us walk through your assignment instructions with students, breaking down each requirement or step in the process, explaining the “whys” and how students can ensure academic integrity throughout the process
  • No time for a class visit? Work with the AIO to develop a connection between your course content or assignments, and integrity and ethics

Other ways the AIO can help support you:

  • “Drop-in” introduction of the AIO at any time in the term, or to introduce a major assignment or upcoming test or exam
  • Develop reminder or advice slides for class breaks, digital screens, or to add to your lecture slide deck
