Waheed Jalalzada

Waheed Jalalzada is a licensed immigration consultant with over a decade of experience supporting newcomers. He has provided over 3,000 hours of free legal guidance, helped prevent immigration fraud, and authored From Dream to Reality, a Farsi-language guide for newcomers to Canada. Waheed founded Waheed Immigration Services in 2021, building on years of volunteer and professional experience in the U.S. and Canada. His career includes community-based projects benefiting hundreds of thousands through civic education, media training, and youth empowerment in Afghanistan. An alumnus of the MA in Immigration and Settlement Studies program at Toronto Metropolitan University, Waheed is advancing to a PhD in Policy Studies with a focus on immigration and settlement policies.  His work bridges academic research and practical advocacy, with a deep commitment to justice, inclusion, and empowering immigrants to thrive in Canada.
