Tareq Alsaleh

Tareq Alsaleh is a PhD student in Civil Engineering at the Center of Urban Innovation, Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation (LiTrans), Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada. Tareq has ten years of experience in senior leadership positions directing programs with multi-million funding portfolios from large institutional and governmental donors to implement multi-sectoral development projects in different countries. Tareq received his B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2012 and 2016, respectively, both from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan. He started his Ph.D. in September 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Bilal Farooq, and his research is at the intersection of sustainability, AI, emerging technologies in transportation, and migrants travel behaviour.
