Rezwana Rahman is a registered nurse, researcher, and social entrepreneur currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Health at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research examines the “duality of care,” focusing on how second-generation South Asian and Muslim immigrants simultaneously raise children and support aging parents. Drawing from firsthand experience and clinical practice, she founded SaraaSits, an AI-powered, faith-based caregiving platform that ensures families are matched with culturally and linguistically aligned caregivers. In 2025, Rezwana’s work received global recognition when she won the postgraduate Global Essay Competition at the St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland. Alongside her research, she brings extensive healthcare and policy experience, including roles with TMU and the government.
