Speakers:

Debra Walko

VP of Client Care and Experience, LOFT Community Services

Debra brings over three decades of expertise in shaping community-based healthcare and supportive housing solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and is a Registered Social Worker.

Christine Bruce

Executive Director, Laboratory Medicine Program, University Health Network (UHN), Toronto

Over the past 25 years, Christine has led system-level innovations to enhance access, quality, and efficiency across public and private laboratory services. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration (Community Care) and is currently completing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Edinburgh Business School.

In honour of Don Ford

Don Ford, a recognized leader and generous mentor, passed away in March 2022. The lecture is held in response to TMU Master of Health Administration (Community Care) students, alumni and other program stakeholders’ wish to recognize Don Ford’s profound contributions to Canadian healthcare, and particularly to the program.
