Bosco da Costa is a journalist, filmmaker, and media producer specializing in film and television production. A member of the Academy of Canadian Film and Television and the Yeates School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (YSGPS) at Toronto Metropolitan University, he is also a Sessional Lecturer at TMU, where he teaches Editing and Multicamera Production. His work explores themes of social justice, representation, and human connection through an empathetic and trauma-aware lens. Bosco’s Master’s research, Humanizing Homelessness Through Transmedia Documentary, investigated how storytelling can challenge stereotypes and reveal structural inequalities. Beyond academia, he hosts and produces CMCTV Talent, a music television series showcasing rising Canadian artists. With experience spanning journalism, film, and television, Bosco’s practice focuses on authentic storytelling that amplifies marginalized voices and invites audiences to reflect critically on social realities
