Over the past nine years, Tommy Ting has worked in product management and production specializing in real-time technologies, including digital humans and virtual production at Wētā Tools - Unity Technologies, Framestore, and Electronic Arts. While at Framestore, he helped develop virtual production tools and an LED volume for 1899, a Netflix original series. His industry experience and artistic practice informs his teaching and research in emerging media technologies and queer storytelling.
